Varsity Tutors
In August 2021, I began working for the tutoring service Varsity Tutors. Though their platform, I have been able to connect with individual students and small groups across the country and help them with their specific subject needs. I have provided academic support in reading, writing, SSAT exam prep, and mathematics. I provide resources and prepare practice to suit each students’ needs.

1-1 Reading Tutor (Virtual and In-Person)
I began tutoring 3rd grader Dalwin over Google Meet in January 2021. We worked together to reinforce reading comprehension skills, reading fluency, prepare for NYS ELA exams, and build excitement surrounding reading. We expanded our practice to include writing, focusing on organization and creative story writing. We transitioned from online meeting to in-person in July and it was so exciting to be able to physically turn the pages of the books together!
